Toxicology Mechanisms of Pollutants

Contaminants can have toxic effects to aquatic organisms. This study aims to bring together the toxicity mechanisms of contaminants that somehow affect aquatic organisms and the reference parameters that play a role in the effectiveness of these mechanisms. Since the contaminants (pesticides, plastics, global warming, bacteria, or heavy metals) found in the aquatic ecosystem are thought to pose a threat to aquatic organisms, there is still a need to develop a common vocabulary for these contaminants and to thoroughly research their toxicity mechanisms.
