Experimental Animal Preference in Aquatic Toxicology
摘要
Today, the use of experimental animals in scientific research has increased significantly, especially in the last 10 years. The basis of this increase is the increase in the number and species diversity of aquatic organisms as experimental animals for various reasons. Researchers must understand both general experimental animal ethics and principles for aquatic animal experiments and the characteristics of experiments in aquatic environments. This section describes the criteria used in selecting suitable candidates for aquatic experiments. The advantages and disadvantages of different experimental systems are also discussed. However, the questions that should be posed in the selection of aquatic experimental animals and the comparative advantages and disadvantages of different animal species are also presented.
