摘要
Crisis management has become an increasingly critical aspect of organizational survival and success in facing unforeseen challenges and uncertainties. In this context, strategic intelligence is pivotal in enhancing a company’s ability to identify, anticipate, and respond effectively to crises. This study investigates the impact of strategic intelligence on crisis management within the context of Jordanian pharmaceutical companies listed on the Amman Financial Market as a field study. Data were collected from 130 professionals working in different pharmaceutical companies in Jordan through a quantitative method approach. The researcher relied on the descriptive-analytical method in the study and utilized a set of statistical tests through the SPSS software. The findings showed a significant and positive impact of foresight and vision, organizational thinking, partnership, and intuition on the crisis management capability of pharmaceutical companies. The results showed that 78.9% of the achievement of crisis management is attributed to the dimensions of strategic intelligence. There is also an impact of the dimensions of strategic intelligence on each crisis inception stage, growth and maturation stage, and disappearance stage as dimensions of the crisis management variable. The study recommended the necessity of developing different strategies that assist pharmaceutical companies in predicting the future and anticipating crises they may face. It also suggested establishing a dedicated department for crisis management and equipping the department with advanced tools and modern technology that facilitate the team’s tasks. Companies should ensure that the crisis management team consists of competent individuals with high expertise in crisis management and dealing with its dimensions. This contributes to mitigating its negative impact on the company.
