The Impact of Applying Governance on the Decisions-Making in Private Jordanian Universities

摘要

The study aimed to find out the impact of the application of governance on decision-making in Jordanian private universities in the northern governorates, where the researcher used the descriptive approach in this study. Questionnaires were distributed to the board of directors in the targeted universities. The study sample consisted of members of the universities of studies, as the researcher distributed 170 questionnaires and received 132 questionnaires valid for statistical analysis. The results of the study showed that there is no significant effect of applying governance in its dimensions (board of directors, senior management and shareholders) on decision-making in its dimensions (availability of information, skills and characteristics of decision-makers) in private universities in northern Jordan at (α ≤ 0.05).
