The Extent of Fulfilling the Requirements of Inclusion of Special Needs Children in Jordanian Kindergartens

This study aims to explore the extent of fulfilling the inclusion requirements of special needs children in Jordanian Kindergartens. It is explored from the perspective of the kindergarten teachers and principals working in Amman, Jordan, during the first semester of the academic year (2011/2012). To achieve the study’s objectives, the researcher developed a questionnaire and distributed it to (217) teachers, (30) principals. The questionnaire consists of 32 statements. SPSS was used for statistical analysis. From the viewpoint of kindergarten teachers and principals, it is found that the level of fulfilling the requirements is moderate. And there are statistically significant differences between respondents’ attitudes which can be related to their job title for the favor of teachers.
