Analysing the Impact of Social Security Corporation’s Procedures during the COVID–19 Pandemic on the Financial Performance of Jordanian Commercial Banks Listed on the Amman Stock Exchange

The main objective of this paper is to examine the impact of foreign direct investment inflows on the financial performance (return on equity and the size of deposits) of Jordan’s banks listed on the Amman Stock Exchange during the (2010–2022) period. The paper found that there is a significant and positive relationship between foreign direct investment inflows and each of the return on equity and the size of deposits at the 5% level. The study recommends that policymakers ought to attract foreign direct investments into Jordan through enhancing the necessary infrastructures in the Jordanian economy and financial sector.
