\(1+3\) -Dimensional dS (dS \(_4\) ) Relativity: The Quantum-Mechanical Context

This chapter focuses on the construction of (projective) unitary irreducible representations (UIRs) pertaining to the \(1+3\) -dimensional de Sitter (dS \(_4\) ) relativity group. Additionally, we delve into the examination of the physical characteristics of these UIRs in terms of their Poincaré contraction limitLimitPoincaré contraction. Based on this analysis, we categorize the dS \(_4\) UIRs into three distinct families.
