Paraesophageal Hernia Causing a Blockage

A 27-year-old woman with morbid obesity presents with chest pain and regurgitation. Workup revealed a large paraesophageal hernia and a motor disorder of the esophageal outlet. This chapter discusses the diagnosis and management of these concomitant disorders.
