Resolution of Dysphagia Post-peroral Endoscopic Myotomy
摘要
A 48-year-old woman presented for dysphagia and coughing while eating. High-resolution esophageal manometry revealed a non-relaxing lower esophageal sphincter, several premature spastic esophageal contractions, and a lack of organized esophageal peristalsis. This chapter discusses the diagnosis of this esophageal motility disorder and how endoluminal functional lumen imaging probe can be used to guide endoscopic treatment of it.
