Dysphagia and Connective Tissue Disease

A 60-year-old woman with scleroderma presents with intermittent dysphagia. High-resolution esophageal manometry revealed 80% of her swallows were ineffective. This chapter discusses the treatment of this common esophageal motility disorder in patients with scleroderma.
