Risks of an Increase in International Technological Cooperation in the Context of Industry 4.0

In this article, we continue our previous studies about the factors of an increase in technological cooperation in current conditions and at the same time the risks that it produced. The object of our article is technological cooperation in the context of Industry 4.0. The main purpose of this research is to study risks of an increase in technological cooperation between Belarus and Romania in the context of digital industrialization. To write this article, such data source as research, data, and analytic research works of both domestic and foreign scientists were used. The research involved the application of general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, historical and logical perspectives, as well as the use of a system and institutional approach. The article identifies new risks of an increase in technological cooperation between Belarus and Romania in the context of Industry 4.0: the entry of humanity into a new stage of its development, the risk economy; institutional differences between countries; the growth of the economy's complexity, which generates new and strengthens old political and economic contradictions; the growth of dissatisfaction among part of the population with their economic status in comparison to mythologized standard of living in the European Union; the decline in trust level in society as a result of decreasing social capital level and strengthening of social classes contradictions; diminishing role of the state in managing various processes in society (social, economic, technical, and technological); challenges in achieving the required public-private consensus in our countries in relation to the increase in the technological cooperation between Belarus and Romania in the context of Industry 4.0; and the necessity for socio-psychological overcoming of cultural, civilizational, political, and other differences by the members of cooperation. We also showed the significance and limitations of the conclusions, as well as the prospects for further research.
