A Shipborne Dense Storage Warehouse System Based on Two-Way Transportation Line Strategy

The shipborne warehouses store maintenance accessories, daily necessities, military equipment, etc., and they are important components of military support. These ships are mainly responsible for receiving, storing and distributing items. Due to limited ship space and increasing efficiency requirements for access operations, ship warehouses will gradually achieve automation, digitization, and intensive management. In this paper, the ship dense storage warehouse system greatly increases storage capacity. At the same time, the warehouse input and output operations are fast and accurate, shortening the operation time. The two-way transportation lines strategy is an improvement compared to the traditionally one-way strategy, and this two-way strategy is suitable for storing supplies which have wide varieties and large weights. The left and right horizontal movement lines increase the number of input and output ports, and the transportation tasks coordinated with AMRs make the transmission more flexible. The warehouse space is a whole space, and also can be several isolated spaces, which share elevators, and this space system is suitable for irregular, low-high, and multiple-layer spaces in ships.
