An Epistemology of Ignorance
摘要
One of the most major arguments against the dark academe of Nazi Germany does so by undermining nothing less than the epistemological foundations of modern philosophy. According to Karl Popper, the conspiracies that drove Nazism, fascism, and totalitarianism had their theoretical roots in “liberal” epistemology. For him, providing an alternative to this epistemology is central to not repeating the dark academe of Nazi Germany that contributed to the Second World War.
