Implementation Science
摘要
Theories and models linked to health psychology and behaviour change are helpful if there is clarity about how the models can be used in practice. Academics and those versed in psychology are familiar with the process of implementation. However, if the journey into behaviour change is in the learning phase, reviewing examples associated with how models can be used in the real world can be a helpful start. Developing patient solutions built on the foundation of health psychology models demonstrates rigour and an evidence-based segment which can be measured to demonstrate effectiveness. Equally, models can provide patent segmentation profiles if the objective is to devise specific targeted messaging. This chapter focuses on concepts associated with shared decision making (SDM), behaviour change planning, message framing and activation modelling, health literacy, interventional mapping via the COM-B model and examples to demonstrate practice opportunities.
