摘要

“Grammar School for the Aspect-blind and A-rhetorical: Elizabeth Bishop’s “Over 2000 Illustrations and a Complete Concordance” (or, All in All More or Less)”: In this book I have imported resources from various intellectual traditions—philosophic hermeneutics, American pragmatism, so-called ordinary language philosophy, and the once long-dominant tradition of the trivium of liberal arts of grammar, rhetoric, and logic/dialectic—to help re-characterize study of literature broadly speaking. In this chapter I continue to develop thinking about thinking as an ingredient but discriminable dimension of a literary work.
