摘要
From the beginning of human civilization, the mastery of the resources around us has been essential for us to climb the evolutionary ladder. Taming the fire, intriguingly seen as a cultural triumph for foregoing the satisfaction of a drive [1], was undeniably transformative. With the simple act of gathering around hearths, we learned the value of group cooperation toward survival. This fundamental realization, together with the advent of language, has shaped the foundation of our system of values, social structures, along with our search for meaning [2].
