Contact Manifolds
摘要
In the study of geometric aspects of classical mechanics, besides symplectic manifolds that are even dimensional, there are contact manifolds that are odd dimensional. Contact manifolds are used in relation to mechanical systems dependent on time and in the study of energy surfaces.
