摘要

In this chapter, we present the application of Collaborative Control Protocol (CCP) with a high-level view, an overview of a monitoring system. The CCP is applied to improve the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)-oriented framework and workflow for agricultural greenhouse stress management, at the system level of Agricultural Robotic System (ARS). We develop the Collaborative Control Protocol for Cyber-Physical Systems (CCP-CPS), aiming to enable collaboration among agents in ARS for regular as well as unexpected situations. Humans, robot, and sensors are the three key agents in the ARS, and the protocol is the foundation of the task collaboration and connection among agents collaborating in the system. In this chapter, we discuss the design of the protocol and its unique features. Then, the protocol is validated using experiments to investigate the effects of CCP in CPS, comparing with an alternative design, the current procedure (practice). Note that the purpose of the protocols and algorithms built in the following chapter is to enable and support the enhancement of the CCP-CPS performance and accomplishment of its roles.
