Digital-Environmental Habitus in England: Families as Vulnerable Subjects at Risk of Digital Poverty
摘要
This chapter focuses on the interaction between the macro and individual determinants at a meso level by exploring how users absorb external inputs to develop their digital-environmental habitus. Reviewing the literature, this chapter shows that, beyond regulating the rising use of technology in daily life, which is also associated with a sharp rise in environmental and socioeconomic degradation, it is crucial to focus on the advantages and effects users expect from their digital technology experience.
