Climate Apocalypse
摘要
This chapter will look at radical climate change as an imminent and likely apocalyptic event that can be interpreted through either secular or religious lenses. I begin with some discussion of religion’s role in climate change discourse and how it might be used to promote an environmental ethic. I then look at how climate change discourse has been presented with apocalyptic overtones through popular news media, and our response to these warnings. Lastly, I propose a sort of eco-piety as a response to the apocalypse, returning once more to how this is found among liberal prepper groups.
