Compact MIMO Antenna Design with Enhanced Isolation for mm-Wave Applications

摘要

The primary challenge in the suggested multiple input-multiple output antenna (MIMO) antenna design is to minimize coupling and better isolation among individual antenna elements. This leads to improved radiation characteristics and elevated diversity characteristics, namely diversity gain and envelope correlation coefficient (ECC). In this context, here a compact antenna is designed exhibiting significant isolation is introduced for operation in the 5G mm-wave bandwidth. The strategic placement of antenna elements contributes to enhanced isolation between them. The results from the simulation substantiate that the suggested multiple input-multiple output antenna design is a strong contender for seamless integration into multiple 5G millimeter-wave applications, including radar, military, and radio astronomy.
