The Face
摘要
In this chapter, the dissection of the midface and lower face will proceed anatomically in a layered fashion starting with (1) surface anatomy and landmarks, (2) skin and subcutaneous fat, (3) subcutaneous fat dissection, (4) the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) and muscles of facial expression, (5) sub-SMAS fat and retaining ligaments, (6) deep facial muscles of mastication, the facial nerve and parotid gland, and finally (7) the deep fat pads of the face. Clinical correlation is included.
