This chapter introduces approaches to calculate poverty. Second, it goes through approach 1 or the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey (CPHS) and approach 2 or the IMF Working Paper and Poverty Estimates. Model developed Pro-poor and Marginalized Inclusive growth Machine Learning Model: Poverty and Macroeconomic Linkage. Finally, the chapter ends with policy recommendations.
