Analysis of Signals in Time Domain
摘要
This chapter introduces the notion of a continuous-time– and a discrete-time signal and presents different signal classes: periodic and nonperiodic, finite- and infinite-duration, finite energy and finite power, and distribution signals. Basic signal parameters (average value, energy, average power) are also defined. Elementary and advanced operations performed on signals in time domain are described. A separate section is devoted to convolution and correlation of two signals. The reader also will learn how to express different signals in orthogonal bases.
