摘要

In order to enhance the diversity of fused precipitation products and the applicability of the products to the observation and security personnel in China, the Meteorological Observation Center (MOC) of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has independently developed the China regional 3 km ground 1-h cumulative multi-source fusion precipitation live analysis product (MOC_3km_PCP). To carry out the application assessment of fused precipitation products is of great significance for timely and accurate understanding of the quality of fused precipitation products. Based on the quality-controlled surface precipitation datasets from national meteorological observatories, MOC_3km_PCP are quantitative evaluated in this study. The root mean square error (RMSE), square of correlation coefficient (R2), and BIAS are chosen as the typical evaluated indicators. Results show that the RMSE between the MOC_3km_PCP and observed surface precipitation is 1.78 mm/h and the R2 of them is 0.71. The BIAS for moderation and heavy rains are 0.98 and 0.97, respectively, suggesting an excellent performance of them in the precipitation classification evaluation. Generally, the analysis above indicates that the MOC_3km_PCP has a good application prospect and it will be valuable for the precipitation research work over whole China and regions.
