The Social Responsibility and Its Impact on the Patients Satisfaction Empirical Study on the Beneficiaries of Services of Zarqa Governmental Hospital in Jordan

摘要

This study aims to recognize social responsibility and its impact on patients’ satisfaction: an empirical study on Zarqa Governmental Hospital services. The researchers created a questionnaire for data collection in order to accomplish the study’s goals, and they tested its validity and consistency, and the study’s description of the study variables followed the descriptive methodology. The study population included the outpatient and inpatient patients’ data. The number of questionnaires was 500 and the recovered 485. The study found out that patients’ assessment of the dimensions of social responsibility in general, was positive, and reached a medium rank. Also, the results revealed a statistically significant impact of three quarters of the moral, human and environmental dimension, with the most influential dimension was the environmental dimension, in which it reached 15.3%. Lastly, the study recommendations were on: the hospital should guide medical personnel and urge them to adhere to the dates of examination, treatment and attention to patients reviewed and hospitalized.
