The Impact of Implementing Disruptive Technology on Organizational Change: A Field Study in Private Universities in Jordan

This study aimed to investigate the impact of disruptive technology implementation on organizational change. The quantitative method was adopted for this study, and the questionnaire was used to collect data from 236 academic faculty members and administrative managers in private universities in Amman, Jordan. The results of the study showed that there is awareness in the higher education sector of what disruptive technology is, and there is also awareness of the changes that accompany the adoption of this disruptive technology in higher education. The study finds that disruptive technologies play an important role in organizational change, as they can facilitate changes in resources, operations, and other vital issues that positively affect the development of institutional work.
