The Pragmatic Function of Press Discourse Markers in French Language

摘要

Media content, interpersonal communication, political speeches and others are different types of discourse used in everyday life. During the last few years, grammarians described the role of discourse markers in different social and environmental contexts. Press Discourse Markers as mysterious expressions as simple yet comprehensively providing meaningful existence to the communication. systematic review gives a strong conceptual support to the problem statement as the researchers cited n = 32 studies, individually citing every aspect of discourse markers in general. Likewise, major investigations validated the notion concerning the meanings of discourse markers in French language based on the situational context. The findings also imply that, all the study participants largely relied upon discourse markers and indicated their prominence in communication process. Press Discourse Markers are highly preferred in French language dialect. Press Discourse Markers have the same pragmatic functions just like other Press Discourse Markers, such as fluency, consistency, rationality and adding to the understanding of the discourse for the speaker. Press Discourse Markers are highly preferred due to their pragmatic and syntactic functions Press Discourse Markers are important class of signals that speakers prefer to manage their communication.
