This study delves into the complexities of landslide hazard and risk analysis in specific regions, highlighting the reliance on run-out models and the challenges posed by data limitations. It underscores the uncertainty in assessing the probability of cascading hazard events, such as landslides leading to flooding, due to inadequate hydro-meteorological data. The research emphasizes the importance of understanding slope hydro-mechanical behavior and the critical combination of triggering factors. The findings spotlight grassland, forest, and roads as highly susceptible land uses, urging a comprehensive evaluation of their vulnerability and potential economic impacts. The study concludes with recommendations for tailored disaster risk reduction strategies and enhanced local resilience against landslide hazards.
