Control of a Magnetic Levitation System
摘要
Magnetic levitation systems are very important at present because of their numerous applications. These equipments are also known as MagLev. One of the main reasons for the use of magnetic levitation systems is their capacity to eliminate friction between mechanical pieces. Some application examples are high-velocity trains traveling by floating up on a rail [1], magnetic bearings [2] which avoid friction and, hence, wear of the involved mechanical pieces, and high-precision positioning control systems [3] thanks to friction elimination.
