Pandemic COVID-19: Impact Towards Import and Export Activities

The merge between exports and imports can build the balance of trade for a country, which may dominate on the gross health of the economy. The import and export industry plays a significant part since countries rely on each other to compensate for each other's weaknesses. During the pandemic, services involving movement and physical contact were mostly unavailable. This paper aims to theoretically identify the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and analyse the overcome towards import and export activity in the company. The qualitative data are used, which is obtained by conducting intense individual interviews with Advanced Air Traffic Systems (M) Sdn Bhd employees. Our findings indicate that limitation in flight schedule gives the huge impact to the company; hence reschedule import and export workflow will help the company to overcome the challenge during the pandemic.
