Spectrum Analysis and Statistical Characteristics of Three Velocity Components in Pipe Flow at High Reynolds Number
摘要
This paper reports that the first result of a spectral analysis at High Reynolds Number Actual Flow Facility (Hi-Reff) up to \(Re_\mathrm \tau \approx 20000\) using a laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV). Pre-Multiplied Spectra (PMS) profile measured by LDV shows good agreement with the previous results measured by hot-wire anemometry. The wall-normal position dependence of the wavenumber of PMS peaks indicates that the dominant structure varies LSM, VLSM and LSM from the inner to outer region. Based on the relation between PMS and three velocity components turbulence intensity profiles, it is found that the dominant structure in the constant region of the wall-normal component is VLSM, on the other hand the dominant structure is changed from VLSM to LSM in the logarithmic regions of the streamwise and spanwise components.
