Midcarpal Total Wrist Arthroplasty
摘要
Midcarpal total wrist replacement is a novel and definitive treatment option for a number of indications including wrist osteoarthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, scapholunate advanced collapse, inflammatory arthritis, and others. This chapter presents a case presentation and final follow-up on a patient who underwent KinematX midcarpal total wrist arthroplasty for radiocapitate arthritis after a proximal row carpectomy performed previously. This chapter also introduces readers to indications and contraindications for this system as well as some operative pearls for using this system.
