Subacute Lunotriquetral Ligament Injury: Reconstruction
摘要
Lunotriquetral (LT) ligament instability can often be difficult to distinguish from other etiologies of ulnar-sided wrist pain after acute injury. Diagnosis can be made with a combination of examination and imaging but often requires diagnostic arthroscopy to fully understand the extent of the injury. While there are multiple treatment options for an LT injury, reconstruction with the ECU tendon provides excellent patient-reported outcomes with low reoperation rates. Here, we present the case of a 30-year-old male with a subacute LT injury that was treated with ECU tendon reconstruction.
