摘要

Scapholunate ligament complex injuries are managed based on the severity and chronicity. Proposed treatments for partial tears include arthroscopic debridement and electrothermal shrinkage, demonstrating efficacy in pain relief. Acute complete disruptions may undergo direct repair using various techniques, while recent advancements including arthroscopic repairs with augmented suture tape show higher load to failure rates. Chronic disruptions often require reconstructive or salvage procedures with diverse techniques available. Despite potential diastasis on imaging, early treatment remains crucial for optimal clinical outcomes in scapholunate ligament injuries, including potential salvage options like wrist denervations, carpectomy, fusions, and arthroplasty. The authors present a case of scapholunate ligament injury repaired using suture tape augmentation.
