Chronic, Reducible Scapholunate Ligament Injury: 360 Reconstruction

  • John R. Fowler

摘要

A major goal of surgery is to restore native anatomy. Many dorsal only techniques do not adequately reconstruct the volar band scapholunate ligament. While the importance of anatomic reconstruction may be questioned given current outcome data, the SL 360 reconstruction is one of the only surgical techniques that reconstructs both the volar and dorsal bands of the scapholunate ligament. I personally favor this technique in active patients with complete disruption of both the volar and dorsal bands of the scapholunate ligament.
