The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technology in Dance Teaching

Due to the drive of globalization, artificial intelligence technology has been widely applied in many industries. For instance, by applying artificial intelligence technology, we can improve the methods and atmosphere of the dance classroom, thereby assisting students in mastering basic skills and knowledge. This way, we can better meet the growing demands and achieve our goals faster. This article aims to explore how to improve the recognition ability of dance movements through adaptive technology. We address this problem by applying two different action sequence segmentation techniques. In addition, we will incorporate an adaptive module to improve the topology of the ST-GCN (Spatial Temporal Graph Convolutional Networks) network to better identify the dance’s characteristics. By incorporating the ST-GCN attention module into the ST-GCN network, we make their training process more focused on important features and greatly improve their performance. Moreover, we have also utilized transfer learning technology, which has greatly enhanced our recognition accuracy.
