Sonographic Anatomy
摘要
Sonographic anatomy is described from parotid to submandibular and sublingual glands. It is essential to learn the exact place of each anatomic element. Especially, for the parotid, the most important is to recognize the parenchyma and every element which are inside such as lymph node, vessels, or ducts. For the submandibular, normally there is nothing inside. Submandibular is sometime very small and difficult to recognize. All salivary glands are homogeneous echogenic glandular organs. The normal sizes of the salivary glands have been evaluated (Dost, Kaiser. Ultrasound Med Biol, 23:1299–1303, 1997).
