By extracting these resources from wastewater, we can extend the positive impacts beyond just human health and environmental preservation. Embracing a circular economy approach, which balances economic development with natural resource protection and sustainability, recognizes wastewater as a widely available and valuable resource. By taking action now, there is an optimistic outlook for transforming the perception of wastewater and maximizing its potential for positive contributions to society and the environment.
