Clinical Evaluation Including Imaging
摘要
Determining the diagnosis and planning treatment for lower extremity deformities in children requires a thorough evaluation. History is important to help determine whether the limb deformity warrants treatment and determining underlying conditions. A thorough physical examination is necessary to understand the deformity, including assessment of contractures, joint laxity, and rotational profile. Imaging should be assessed with a systematic approach to comprehensively characterize the overall deformity.
