Complexity of Somalia Conflict: Features and Actors

To understand the complexity in the Somalia conflict, one needs to closely examine the features of the conflict and the actors involved. In this chapter, I examine the complexity of the Somalia conflict by looking at how the conflict has transformed over the years and how the involvement of multiple actors at the national, regional and international level complicate efforts towards peace building. But first, I discus the logic of attack which presents a unique explanation on who is being targeted and why.
