Clan Configuration and Identity Networks in Somalia

Having examined the theoretical aspects of the conflict in Somalia, I will now discuss the implications of identity and how soft bond networks among the clans in Somalia are created. These less studied features will be important in understanding the nature and intensity of regional attacks from Somalia to neighboring countries which have a significant number of citizens with Somalia origins. But first we discuss the geography of Somalia.
