From Functional Requirements to NoSQL Database Models: Application to IoT Geospatial Data
摘要
The design of optimal geospatial NoSQL databases is complex and depends on application requirements and query patterns. This paper presents a top-down methodology for IoT applications, starting with data-related requirements defined using a UML class diagram and expected queries. Subsequently, a set of rules is applied to create a geospatial NoSQL database model. This approach is illustrated with an example of soil moisture detection.
