Outlook

This chapter provides an outlook and describes them along the Vaduz Architecture of the Financial System 2030. While information technology enables automation, innovation, and disintermediation, nation states provide novel concepts for financial inclusion and sustainability based on these technologies. Regulation enables a fair framework for innovation and protection and enables the transformation of the financial system based on digital money and digital ecosystems. This will require repositioning for the existing and new players and enables an even stronger globalization, which of course depends on political decisions and fosters sustainability on a broader scale since finance has an impact on all economic activities.
