Financial System
摘要
This chapter gives an overview of the challenges of banks in the context of digitalization as part of the financial system and introduces potential strategies of future digital banking models. In addition to banks and other financial institutions, it describes the future role of financial utilities in the financial system and the role of the financial market infrastructure to connect them. Furthermore, bigtech companies, decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, and the role of stablecoins are outlined as additional important elements of future digital ecosystems and potential models therein. Finally, sustainable digital finance describes a novel approach to promote sustainability in the financial system by leveraging information technology.
