Penile Anatomy and Physiology of Erection
摘要
The penis is a complex and dynamic organ with dramatically contrasting functions, and the process of achieving penile erection requires complex interplay of different anatomical elements such as arteries, veins, nerves, and intrinsic anatomical structures. The purpose of this chapter is not to provide an extensive review of the most complex anatomical details of the penile structure, but to describe the most pertinent features that are relevant for performing penile Doppler ultrasound studies.
