The Journey of Energy Transition

The current debate over the climate change seems to center on the accumulative changes and impacts that human activities had made so far to Mother Nature and the biodiversity of the global ecosystem. In search for viable solutions to fight against the increasingly extreme and unpredictable climate, it appears that hydrogen resurfaces as an attractive source of energy that could be part of the viable solution to counter the climate change. This would again provide the coal gasification and a gasification in general a great opportunity to exert its impacts and functions, not only by converting coal and other heavy hydrocarbons effectively into hydrogen but also capturing carbon as well.
