Law and Literature: A New View from Six Perspectives

  • Kamil Zeidler,
  • Agnieszka Plata

摘要

The paper aims to introduce new areas where law and literature interact. “Law on literature” view focuses on regulations concerning literary creativity. “Literature in law” theory explores situations, where references to literature are made within legal texts. “Literature as law” perspective derives from historic adapting literature into law. “Legal literature” develops the idea of “law in literature” specifically applying it to juristic works. Literary theorists tend to divide texts for these of practical purpose and those created for spiritual reasons. Authors do not share that opinion and emphasize the significance of exploring humanistic values carried within law.
