Conceptual and Empirical Structure of Physical Quantities

We discuss the structure of physical quantities as objects based on two pillars, one empirical-phenomenological and the other conceptual-mathematical. The discussion also develops on the most fundamental of measuring instruments, namely, the units of measurement.
