The Conflict Rages On

This chapter concludes the book by looking at the aftermath of the general election when Trump challenged the legitimacy of the results, especially in the four states he lost where Republican voters outnumbered Democrats. We examine the role Democrat elites played in upholding the election in each state and fighting the dozens of court cases Republicans pursued across the country. We then revisit January 6, detailing the actions undertaken by Democratic congressional leaders to certify the results and hold Trump accountable for his efforts to overturn them.
